OK, I've seen tons of movies, I remember seeing bruce lee as a kid- game of death sticks out in my mind- to all the rocky movies and the karate kids, the best wresting movie ever in "vision quest" go loudin... to all the van damn and segal movies- but if I have to pick a best fight movie ever- not plot or drama but strickly the best fights- The Protector with Tony Jaa, so many good scenes- when he fights in the church agains the brazilian and Nathan Jones (WWF long ago) to the final fight where he takes on like 50 guys- yeah most of the technique is suspect but some of it is just bad ass. Any one have a better fight movie- cause if so I'd better check it out!

I don't know if you could classify it as a fight movie but it's definitely a martial arts action movie.

To me this is the all time best action movie

Lone Wolf McQuade with Chuck Norris. This was the precusor to Walker Texas Ranger.

Walker was too family orientated, McQuade was a legitamate "Bad Mutha F**ka"

i do like the lone wolf entry, but to just bypass the JCVD movies I think is a mistake ... the Quest and Lionheart had excellent fight scenes ... Jet Li has several good ones as well in One and Unleashed, but best ever would be difficult ... Rocky 5 probably had the best fight scene of the Rocky's, Rocky and Tommy Gun in the street ... Funny that the best fight scene in a Rocky movie didn't even include the ring. Although brief and extremely one sided, the fight in the Shooter between him and the 2 cops and dog was pretty sweet. And for my last entry to think about would be Heartbreak Ridge with Clint Eastwood, pretty sure you remember that, and if you don't, might want to check it out. (if aliens count, the fight between the mother alien when he jumps on its back even included great cinamatics, that can be seen in Starship Troopers the original jk)

let me tell you something about that movie (million dollar baby) I kept saying that was a girls movie or whatever, I was never gonna watch it, but my parents came down, and we ended up watching it .... I don't know about having the best fight scene, but that is a damn good movie for both men and women. so to anyone that has 'Manned up' and not watched it, pretend like your doing your lady a favor, and watch it with her, it is a damn good flick!

The most realistic fight scene in a movie has to go to John Carpenters THEY LIVE!

The one with the aliens that you are only able to see while wearing special glasses. The fight was between Rowdy Roddy Piper, the WWF wrestler and Keith David or David Keith, the black guy.

These guys smack the crap out of each other, get tired, and fight like a couple of buddies goin at it.

The movie was only SO SO but it did have the great line of "I'm here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubble gum"
