Kate Martinez Captures Title
August 12, 2007 in Orlando, Florida Kate Martinez from Infinite Mixed Martial Arts (Loveland, CO) won the IKF Bantamweight Women's International Rules Kickboxing Amateur WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

Kate 4 - 0 attended the open "IKF World Classic", and faced Mariea Snyder 4 - 2 of Arkansas in the final. Snyder a 6th degree black belt that fights under the Joe Lewis Fighting System is a very experienced fighter listing multiple titles on her own resume.

Kate won the fight by the scores of 30 - 27, 30 - 27, and 29 - 28. The fight was a great display of Kate’s all around skills in striking and ring control. Snyder was game and came to fight, but Kate dominated the bout at all ranges.

Martinez was corned for the fight by her Coach/Husband Adam Martinez and 3 time IKF Champion “Killer” Katie Meehan. Kate will be looking to move into the sport of MMA in the near future.

Kate would like to thank her sponsors Ring of Fire and Serious Pimp that helped make her trip to Orlando, Florida possible.
