... Kate and Adam Martinez are some of the truly good people in MMA. They both have a HUGE heart for the sport as well as the fighters. Kate has a couple other belts in different forms of martial arts, and not the 'karate chop a board in half' style, more like the 'kick yo ass' style. She is one woman that in NOT to be reckoned with. Looking forward to seeing where her MMA career goes. |

... Thanks guys, I am very proud of Kate and how she performed on Saturday in the Ring of Fire. It was great to see her get an opportunity to test more of her fight game. She always gives so much of herself to others in our Academy, it was nice she got a day for her to shine. Her work ethic is off the charts, tried to give her the fight name Extraordinary Machine(she is a big Fiona Apple fan), but it never took. "Spider" has been out there for her being she is a big fan of Anderson Silva, and as you saw on Saturday, her ground game is real damn good! She can really pull out some amazing transitions in grappling so "Spider" has stuck around a bit with her. |

... Kate Martinez is a huge asset to the proof that Women in combat sports can be looked at as a true talent and at the same time be a poster child for the sport/s as well. Quite a great team with her and her husband Adam Martinez who conducts himself to the highest level (along with Kate)and they have some very strong talent as well.
