Rumors have been circling around the MMA industry that Mirko Cro Cop is next in line for the heavyweight title shot, fighting the winner of UFC 68 heavyweight bout March 3^rd, Sylvia or Couture. However, Cro Cop will have to wait a little longer as unconfirmed sources report that the Croatian, former anti-terrorism commando, is scheduled to fight Gabriel "Napao" Gonzaga at UFC 70’s main event in the UK.

No matter how long he has to wait, rest assure we will see this top contender fighting for the heavyweight belt.

... If this is true, this is a bummer! I was hoping to see Cro Cop and - hopefully - Couture fight next. If Cro Cop is healthy, maybe he'll be up for the title shot at UFC 71.
