Noah Thomas, The Ultimate Fighter 5 alumni has undergone complete ACL replacement surgery this past week. Thomas who fights for Infinite Mixed Martial Arts (Loveland, Colorado) was injured during a training session in mid-July. The initial screening had Thomas attempt rehab for a short period. As the rehab did not make any progress the injury was rechecked by a different orthopedic center, it than discovered that the ACL was completely detached.  Surgery went well and being at the top orthopedic center in Colorado his post-op rehab is already in full swing. Following his appearance on TUF 5 several offers for his next bout were being considered. One change with Thomas in his fighting career was a decision to have him move out of the 155lb division and down to the 145lb weight class. Thomas and his trainer have been working with top promotions in the MMA business as plans were in the works for him to return to fighting action at the lighter division. Thomas will return to training once he is medically cleared than plans will resume for his return to fighting in 2008.
