Pueblo, CO Oct 6th 2007- Fourteen Mixed Martial Art hopefuls kicked, punched, and grappled their way through a grueling 8 minute crucible each vying for one of 3 slots on Pueblo's longest running MMA team along with a host of sponsored prize packs.  "This event is designed as a platform to gauge the level of local talent, asses the individuals strengths and weaknesses, determine whether they are coach-able, and ultimately how well they can perform under pressure" Said Kuya Head coach and trainer for PWIA.  "It fosters a sense of camaraderie among the Pueblo fighters in a positive atmosphere that enables them to analyze what they will need to become successful competitors.

Saturdays Winners were:

The story and pictures were good. I only have one complaint. There aren't enough pictures of me; Eric LaLone. These photographers need to learn. If you are going to take a picture make sure I'm in the shot.

you know dude i tried to be remain objective with you take the high road and difuse the situation, you have not even stated who you are. The problem is with guys like you that you are new to the sport and are jumpin on the bandwagon and have no idea what you are talking about. ok, assbag qualifications?

I have 27 years total experience have been fighting for 14 teaching for 12, I also hold a teaching endorsement in negros occidental the philippines, (oh and shame on you for thinking escriva as you called it? isnt that a light chicken gravy lmao) was just sticks, but thats a common misconception amongst small minded people whos ideas of martial arts, are chuck norris and mr. miyagi,

I am an author and in 2001 I got a grant to travel the pacific islands to write the first ever book on the sacred martial traditions and warrior culture called "TOA" Contrasts in the island warriors, Please reference the archives of the pueblo chieftain to reference the huge cover story they wrote on my work,
I speak 3 languages, oh and by the way here is a list of my "unqualified" my training partners past and present:

The WBC superlight weight champion Marvin Cordova,

my cousin former WORLD KICKBOXING CHAMPION LAWRENCE MIERA

National NCAA wrestling champ Mark Villalobos,

Olohe Kaihewalu of Lua Hawaii o' Kaihewalu

Pa'Kuiaholo Lua of Hawaii (you may have a problem pronouncing with your limited vocabulary)

Mark and Ian Hasigawa of Kai Garcia's north shore jujitsu in Hawaii and 808 fight factory

John Patron and Eric Lalone of the Defense Institute

Judo blackbelt and mma competitor Don Martinez, plus what i have gleaned from my family and my brothers at pwia and interactions over the years. The point being, what the hell do you know? heres my resume

I train the swat for the sheriffs department in cqc tactics

military police from fort carsons special response team,

The womens staff of pueblo corrections,

El Paso County Sheriffs Department Detectives

Canadian Border patrol officers at lake Champlain new York,

By the way, look in the pictures you are saying there was no credible instructors, umm, Zak Valdez head of La Gente wrestling was a judge for the ground guys along with Manuel Gallardo dumb ass, stand up judge was eric lalone and his resume is a lot longer than mine, so until you pull your head out of your ass, man up state your ninja identity, and are willing to try to help promote the sport in pueblo in a positive way, then you should,

Man up, put up, or shut up.
have a nice day. you have my number you can call or drop by anytime.

Good note Gabe... Unfortunatley a bitch is a bitch. A sex change would be easier than trying to reason with an uneducated f**ktarded moron without the balls to identify himself. These are the kind of turds I tossed for years. They talk s**t while running away. I know I should ignore them. But on the rare ocassion one of them trips while running away like a little girl it feels good to slap them.
