Local fighter Santana Sol-Martinez, who fights out of Alvidrez Combat Grappling in Las Animas, Colorado, heads to Illinois today to tryout for the 2008 IFL draft. Santana is a pro fighter and a veteran of local fight promotions Kickdown, Tap or Snap, and No Mercy.

MMABuzz was also told that Manuel Gallardo, who is an independent fighter out of Pueblo, will also be making the trip to Illinois in hopes of making an IFL team.

This will be the final tryouts for the 2008 IFL draft.

Local fighter Donnie Liles, out of Colorado Fight Factory, fought in the IFL last season and competed for the San Jose Razorclaws. You can see Donnie in action on November 10th at the EFX show in Denver. His opponent will be Chris Camozzi, out of Gumm MMA.
