First Fight: Joe Lauzon vs Brian Geraghty
Pulver comment (talking about his KO to Lauzon): "Joe did his job." Pulver asks Brian to "Forget the fact he hit me."
Fight Day: Lauzon vs Geraghty
Rd 1: Joe pushed the pace and opens with a big slam. He throws some hard elbows, and ends up with Brian in a RNC (with NO hooks)

Fight 2: Corey Hill vs Rob Emerson
Corey admits that he has lied a bit about his fight record. He "thinks" he told Dana 8-0 but really he doesn't have any pro fights......ever.
Fight:
Rd 1: Corey pushes the pace a bit. Both fighters dance around the ring. Good exchanges by both fighters. Tough round to score.
Rd 2: Decent exchanges by both fighters. Solid leg kicks by Emerson. Corey takes down Emerson but Emerson ends the round with Corey in a heel lock.
Sudden Death Rd 3: Corey pushes the pace. Corey flurries followed by Emerson leg kicks.
Decision Time: Dana White saw "Neither one looked impressive, but I thought Emerson won the fight"
Decision goes to Corey.
Emerson is pissed.

Corey took the decision but the fight could have gone either way. I agree with the Penn Team, I think the forward movement from Corey won the Sudden Victory round for him.

It was a tough fight to score. I have to agree with you on Corey stepping forward in Rd 3, that got him the win.

Dana White said it best 'Emerson fought not to lose.', I (as well as a lot of others) don't like that gameplan.

I think what we saw from Corey last night is that he's got some technique issues that need to be worked out. I'm sure he was watching that fight last night and realizing how far he's come in such a little amount of time. I'll be anxious to see the 'new' Corey once the boys at Miletich get done with him.
