... Overall I thought the card was great. I agree Chuck should have finished him off, he kinda looked like he knew he'd win a decision and respected Silva's KO power. I think that fight lived up to the hype. And really I think the way it turned out works for both of their careers. Silva stood with one of the best fighters. Now I'd like to see Silva-Griffin or Silva-Ortiz. And GSP is a bad bad man... |

... I have to say this was one of the better cards i have seen. Exceptional conditioning for all but a couple fighters. And I thought really only one snoozer Eddie Sanchez def. Sao Palelei. Really at this level conditioning should not be an after thought. Clementi owned Guillard Machida was incredible. He is a machine. real clean. He isn't flashy but he is proficient. I think he is someone to watch ..... So much for the Nay Sayers and all the Liddell should retire yakkers. Silva is an absolute monster and I think Chuck fought a great fight. As far as finnishing Silva? He wasn't going to get finnished. Chuch was smart and fought smart at the end. St. Pierre will do the same to Serra that he did to Hughes. No one can touvh him right now. He is the man to beat in that weight class. |
