Sure, just like any other fighter he built himself up in the undergrounds, and wasn't even that impressive then either, but some how got into the UFC, the only 2 decent UFC fighters he's beat is Leben and Herman. Sure you can try to argue he beat Joe Doerksen(40-12), but a big record doesn't mean anything without quality opponents, IMO. I remember hearing Joe Silva said his fight with Okami wasn't on Live because Okami was boring, not him... big laugh on him. With UFC cutting down on their roster, if Macdonald loses this one, it'll only prove he doesn't belong, further more =) (All, just in my opinion) |

... The funny thing about this is Liddell wanted a title shot after the Silva fight, and wants one if he wins this fight too! I'm sure he'll get it because him and Dana are so "tight", but in my standards winning one out of his last three isn't title worthy. Like Chris said, it all depends what Liddell decides to show up. |

... I am a huge Liddel fan, but you guys are talking about Rashad like he is nothing. This guy is extremely powerful, and a pretty good wrestler. if Keith Jardine can knock you out, then Rashad can sure as hell knock you out ... and you know what they say the more KO's you receive, it gets a little easier each time. I would hope Liddel takes this VERY serious, and comes out in the best shape hes been in for a while. |
