... Drew Spellman. Questionable. We're still ironing our some of the wrinkles on the card. Wanted to get something in the hands of the local MMA community asap. I'll update with changes as I get them from Keith. |

... yep thats me. i would love to fight it killed me to pull out of the no mercy card. i havent fought in 8 months and i was out at the rez and ruptured my ear drum. i thought it would be ok then i was rolling around with cameron and he accidently hit me in the ear with a open hand. i went back to the doc and he told me i could have permant damage if i get hit in it again. then when i told chuck about not being able to fight he called the boxing commision and told them and they but me on a 30 suspension? |

... Vellore Caballero (9-4 am - Toolshed) makes his pro debut against Santana Martinez (0-1 pro, 4-1 am - Alvidrez Combat Grappling)on Saturday, October 20 at WC2. This fight was initially on the Tap or Snap October 13 card. Due to work related issues, Vellore is unable to fight on the November make-up show. I'm honored to pick up the fight. Though I don't personally know Brian, My condolences go out to the Lee family. Thank you to Keith Wilson and the Alvidrez camp for helping to make this happen! |

... First, I would like to apologize for the show in pueblo being canceled. Big House Productions worked very hard trying to make this show happen, for the fans and the fighters. The bottom line is that promoters, coaches, gyms, and fighters who were involved with this show did not conduct themselves professionally. In some instances, coaches and managers didn't communicate fully with one another. This miscommunication resulted in the fighter having no idea that his opponent had been changed. Also, coaches and gyms in some cases didn't seem to have any sense of urgency in contacting their fighter to okay any changes, or they said they had contacted the fighter, but had not. Blood work was an issue in several cases as well. People said they had it, and didn't, or that they were going to get it and they just waited until the last minute when it was too late. There was also some games being played involving the fighter's commitment to fight in this show. They would go back and forth between promoters, agreeing to fight on both shows, even with them being only a week apart. Some of the fighters had very legitimate reasons for not making it. That, I understand. It's the ones who just didn't live up to their word that I have a problem with. I have always followed through with the commitments that I've made for myself or with my fighters, or with other fighters/gyms that I have dealt with in regards to any promotion. Rude Effex, Team Rumble, Pacific Warriors, F.I.T NHB and the Tool Shed fighters all had their blood work together, and no other commitments or issues that caused any confusion. Once the fight was set, there were no worries as to whether or not the fighters would be there, ready to fight. I would like to thank these gyms and their fighters for the way that they handled themselves throughout this whole process. It would be nice if all gyms held their athletes accountable as representatives of their gyms and ambassadors of the sport. This is the way that gyms/fighters should conduct business. If you make a commitment, live up to it! That is not to say that all of the gyms not listed practice bad business, just that in my experience, these gyms are the example. P.S. We did our very best to keep the show alive, and we apologize to all of the fans that were looking forward to coming out to Big House Production's second installment of Warriors Collide. We ended up with only five confirmed fights, and we didn't feel that that would be fair to paying fans. We will work even harder to make sure that our February show is as good as they come. Kieth |

... there is liek a 0.00% chance I coudl do teh job that Keith, and many others do to get a show going. Even to the peopel I do not agree with in the scene here, I have to admit it probably a very difficult job that is probably very thankless at times. So anyways, a big props to people involved in setting things up, an dliek I said, even to the ones I have some problems with. i think everyone can understand with hwo many shows there are now, it is probably very very hard to run a show now. hats off to you bro, I'm sure things will be better next time, especaily now that you know to be aware of teh problems you had this time. |
