... Fagyas's fight should be a good one. I am dissappointed to hear that his fight with Marcus Brimage in Alabama was changed and he is fighting someone else now. I hear Brimage had some Army Guard scheduling conflict....that would have been a doozy of a fight imo. |

... Yeah guys. Fighting on the card for sure. Not sure on exactly who the opponent is, but I was told. I just forgot. I have tons of stuff goin on right now, and I'm definitely goin back to iraq in December, so wish me luck, both in my fights here, and the big fight over there. I don't mean to come off as cocky about not remembering the opponent, I really just forgot his name. I know that I hadn't heard of him and therefore I won't worry about him until he's across the ring from me. Thanks to my coaches and teammates for all of the blood, sweat, and tears they have poured into my training. I also owe a huge thanks for all of the love the fans and promoters have shown me over the years. Will do my best to give a good fight on the 31st. See you there. V |

... Keith lost in overtime, after an 8min 0-0 match with ruben charles cobrinha (check him out on youtube). Dude is sick finished everyone in the worlds in under 2 min, and the former world champ 14-0 in the fin. you get no better than cobrinha in sub grappling, keith's right there with him. I don't think people understand how good Keith Wilson really is. Drew Toolshed |

... I wrestled with a guy named Mike Bareras in college in alamosa, the same town that Frankie taught boxing. I'm pretty sure its the same guy. He was a Division 2 national runner up and two time all-american. And boy does he love to fight. Pretty tough guy. |

... sorry to hear bout your opponent vellore, that is one of the biggest dissapointments in this game when you train hard, diet, and set your frame of mind to the task at hand, then due to lack of discipline, dedication, or probably in this case, fear they dont show. look forward to seein ya trade hands soon. gabriel aka kuya. |

... Thanks everyone. And you are right......apparently its gonna be hard to find opponents for me and Eric right now. So I think that everyone knows what the next step almost has to be. Neither one of us was in a hurry to do it, as we both had areas that we wanted to improve on. Not giving any details, but don't be surprised if you see one, or both of us making our pro debut soon. Thanks again for all the support. Our team appreciates it, and I know that Eric and I definitely do. Coming soon to a pro-am card near you!!!! V |

... I want to thank Keith Wilson for getting our guy Joe Kaberlai on the card in the final hour. This is the first guy from the Defense Institute south that has been scheduled to fight. He's been working hard with Sensei Rob, Sensei Shale, and Sensei John down there and he should definitely put on a good show. Please make sure you go down and support us and all the teams of fighters. There needs to be a lot of energy in the room. |

... now dibo... that wasnt very nice was it? ok, dibo may i kindly ask your real name and not your keyboard pseudo personality? Where do you train? ok, you want credentials? I was the first person EVER in this town to do mma, back when you probably still jerking off to the underwear section of the sears catalog. I am 16-2 overall, 6-2 mma. I have boxed, wrestled, done toughman, stickfought both wekaf, and nhb stickfighting, sub grappled and more. I currently train with the wbc superlightweight champion marvin cordova, I have been doing martial arts for 27 years, and training others for 15. I currrently train the sheriff swat, and have trained the military police at fort carson. so your turn to step up what are your credentials? i personally know every coach and instructor here and most would not conduct or condone your comments. by the way my name is gabriel charboneau, i am located at pwia 1530 w. 17th street if you would like to exchnge information and debate this further. everybody in this game loses at one point or another, very few go undefeated. Now, that said, I agree pueblo is a fighting town with a terrific fighting spirit. yes there are many tough and skilled guys out here waiting to be tapped for their talent. but as the only one for years with the balls to step in the ring, and hear the announcer say fighting out of pueblo, colorado.... i find your comments not very nice. |

... Now going back and reading dibo's post maybe he's just trolling. In the spirit of open-mindedness, I will state this. Bro, Im assuming that your a younger guys because of the friday name reference "dibo". I cant speak for the amercian championship guys, but I do know their instructor mike very well. Hes a very solid, very tough and skilled fighter (ive seen him in the street believe me) and he has a good reutation here, as for his fighters, It is most of their first time, so who knows, maybe they will surprise you. Manuel Gallardo is a highly regarded comabt athelete, and his brother whom i was in the army with mike is also a good competitor and classy guy Im sure he will come prepared to do what is necessary to put on a great show for the fans. Drew hershon, has some of the best standup and footwork ive ever seen, and is a phenom when it comes to conditioning, he has like.3 bodyfat. As for me, I highly regard Eric, hes a cool guy and a tough, tough fighter witha good record, but isnt that the aim, to shoot for the best fight possible? If your not aiming for number one, then your settling for number two, and that my friend has never been me. Im not one for talking trash, but will say that this is my town, and ive been doing this too long to give ANYTHING less than a 100% performance. Warriors, fight, thats what we do, to whatever end that means bro. see you at the fights. |

... I am a Pueblo fighter, and very very proud to be. I respect all comments on this site and try to be open minded in all aspects of what people say. That being said. I trained with Mike Zamarripa at American Champ. MMA and just know this...He is a bad a$$ mofo. Not to be taken lightly. Also, his training techniques are not for the average. The fighters from his camp are all first time fighters and should be given respect. Win or lose we are all brothers in some way or another, so instead of knocking them, we should be soluting them for there courage. Dean |

... I just have one thing to say Pueblo has a bad reputation, When it comes to having fights in our community. Please who ever attends this help remind others this is a sport lets keep the fights in the ring and not in the crowd, this will assist in us getting more fights and having more events like this, it also helps with fans of the sport being able to invite families with out worrying about the audience acting up. I know this is like preaching to the choir but I'm glad Pueblo is getting another event like this let's keep them coming. |

... Hey to everyone, Well Im not here to talk sh*t about anyone. Let me say this tho that what happen with manuel gallardo was the most wrong and most dispicable thing that BIG HOUSE did. Its not money and its not for show its something manuel puts his mind and body into with mma fighting. Believe me when I say this tho that manuel will still be AROUND. Much love to MANUEL and every other fighter that is in it for the fun !! |

... Mauel is not on the card. We had a few missteps along the way. The first being the fault of my company - Big House - a formal, written, contract was never issued to Manuel and the other fighter. That led to a weight discrepancy at weigh-ins. The issue was given its due diligence to everyone involved including Keith Wilson and Frankie Sanchez. An agreement couldn't be reached. Both figthers were paid and the pro fight has been called off. I regret what happened. As the new kid on the block, I can attest that we will work through it for our next fights. I've spoken to both fighters and the situation is over. Lets move on. -Rob from Big House |

... I THINK THE STUPIDEST THING OF THIS WHOLE EVENT IS MAKING THE FIGHTERS PAY THERE OWN REG. FEE. THE FIGHTERS ARE WHAT MAKE THE SHOW. IT SHOULD BE PROMOTERS JOB TO TAKE CARE OF THAT. ALOT OF THESE FIGHTERS GET OUT THERE AND BUST THERE ASS FOR FREE. PRO OR AM THEY ALL NEED TO BE TAKIN CARE OF. |

... Yeah I was a little confused by the fighters paying their own reg. fee, this is something the promotors generally do for the fighters. Any thoughts on this Rob? As for the Manuel Gallardo thing, It is one of those things that every fighter will face along the way, and one of the reasons I never went pro over the years, there is no real reason to for me. I generally get more from my sponsors as an amateur than the local pros make, though that fact is a little crappy. However, the situation was that both fighters came in at the weight that THEY EACH were told to come in at, but miscommunications will and do happen, its part of this game. So for the promotors, you did the honorable and forthcoming thing no worries, me and Eric im sure will live up to the billing and fight our asses off for the fans. Manuel, you did what was right for you and your family, their is no dishonor in that, much love and respect from me. To Mike, from Denver, bro you look like a tough and able competitor, the situation sucks just as much for you since you made the weight you were told to make, you look fit and ready to fight and I look forward to seein you kick some ass soon. OH, fyi though, I know franki hes a good guy, good coach and good competitor himself you have a good team. Word of advice, get rid of iggy from your camp because as you saw last night he's bad for you and your business and does not have a good reputation. I wish you and your guys the best bro. So off we march into battle tonight no looking back, and no regrets and most of all no excuses. Founder, Father, Fighter, and Warrior. They call me kuya. lata. |

... Promoters are in this to make money. That's what it all boils down to. If it's not they're in it for then they are going to go broke. That means less shows and fights for everyone. Would you expect someone to pay for your licensing in any other business. NO The fees that are charged for a fighter are the cost of doing business. If you want to fight then that is what is required. Do you expect the promoters to pay for your HIV and HEP C tests as well? How about the cornermans fees? Why doesn't the promoter just cover training fees for a year? The fees are the responsibility of the fighter, or the team/school they fight out of. I myself as a school owner cover the fighters licensing fees as well as the corner fees for everyone involved. That's just standard business practice. I think others should follow suit. |
