can't say I've been to impressed with anyone so far. some of them are competitive fights but just because both fighters have suspect skills...
if they are not good enough for the finale you probably won't see them in the UFC anytime soon!

Of course they aren't announcing any of the TUF guys that will be on the card. The dude that just lost, Chipper confirmed he is on the card. My guess is he is fighting that cat that was going back and forth with him on the last show, Rivera.

Glad to hear that "chipper" is getting another shot- seemed like a young hard working kid with some potential. Definately not there yet but with potential, agian the a good fight most time depends on the match up!

yeah me too....I was reading Forrest's blog about that episode and he was real impressed as well. Part of the strategy was to get him early because they figured that since he came from a no name gym he might be a beast once he trained with some quality guys.

Yeah I liked seeing skilled dues who are hungry on teh show. People bicth sometimes about fighters having a 1-0 record and being on the show, but if they show potential, then more power to them.

I really think Camozzi could have done well on the show, at least as one of the 32 and then let him earn his way on. From the 16 prelims I think he could have made it in the house.

yeah, who knows, maybe it was a good thing he did not get on, with all the cuts going on in the UFc. It sounds liek they are not signing a lot of guys fromTUF anymore, unless they really really (yeah two reallys) stand out.

also in the first fights it seems like they tried to match up records so the 0-0 or 1-0 guys fought guys with similar experience and guys with better records fought better guys. A fighter like Camozzi could have had a tough fight just to get in while some of the other guys got easier fights just because they lacked experience- not sure the thinking there, guess they were trying to make those first fights more exciting with better match-ups?

I think its to see what newer guys belong, and who has legitamate skills.
You see if they find a diamond in the rough, like smiley boy, you can slowely build him up, an done day he could be a star, if built up right.

even a good pro record might not mean much, it all depends on where and who you have fought.

The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale in high-def, slotted for three hours
by MMAjunkie.com Staff on May 19, 2008 at 12:13 pm ET
The finale of "The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rampage vs. Team Forrest," which features a main event of former UFC middleweight champ Evan Tanner vs. Kendall Grove, will run three hours, and for the first time, will be presented in high-definition.
Spike TV today confirmed details for the June 21 event, including fights for the night's undercard. The televised main card airs at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The event takes place at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
Previously reported fights of Spencer Fisher vs. Jeremy Stephens, Jeremy Horn vs. Dean Lister, Josh Burkman vs. Dustin Hazelett, and Marvin Eastman vs. Drew McFedries were all confirmed today.
The Grove vs. Tanner fight, as well as a welterweight bout between Luigi Fioravanti and Diego Sanchez, were previously announced by the UFC.
The event will also feature the two finalists from the current season of "TUF." The final preliminary bout airs this coming Wednesday, and the cast will then be whittled down to eight remaining quarter-finalists. As with past seasons of the show, the winner earns a six-figure contract with the UFC and an assortment of prizes.
The latest card now includes:
Kendall Grove vs. Evan Tanner
Luigi Fioravanti vs. Diego Sanchez
Finalist #1 vs. Finalist #2
Spencer Fisher vs. Jeremy Stephens
Jeremy Horn vs. Dean Lister
Josh Burkman vs. Dustin Hazelett

from www.mmajunkie.com
Hard-hitting Alessio Sakara (12-7 MMA, 3-4) will look to push his UFC record to .500 when he meets fellow middleweight Rob Yundt (6-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale.
A member of Sakara's camp confirmed the rumored bout with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) over the weekend.
The event, which will also crown a champion from "The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rampage vs. Team Forrest," takes place June 21 at The Palms Las Vegas and airs live on Spike TV. Evan Tanner meets Kendall Grove in the night's main event.
Sakara, who will fight for the ninth time in the UFC, debuted with the organization at UFC 55. The fight was ruled a no-contest after Ron Faircloth tagged Sakara with an inadvertent kick to the family jewels. Since then, it's been an up-and-down ride in the UFC as Sakara has posted victories over Elvis Sinosic, Victor Valimaki and James Lee -- with losses to Dean Lister, Drew McFedries, Houston Alexander and, most recently, Chris Leben at UFC 82.
Despite the mixed results, Sakara usually provides entertaining performances. All but one of his fights -- a unanimous-decision win over Sinosic -- concluded in the first round.
Yundt, meanwhile, hopes to shake off the effects of his first career loss. After a successful career with the Alaska Fighting Championship, Yundt replaced an ill Alan Belcher at UFC 81 and suffered a first-round submission loss to Ricardo Almeida.

Matt Arroyo and Matt Brown to meet at TUF7 Finale
by Dann Stupp on May 29, 2008 at 12:00 pm ET
Matt Brown (9-6 MMA, 0-0 UFC), who was recently eliminated from "The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rampage vs. Team Forrest," will get a rematch with season-six cast member Matt Arroyo (3-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) next month at the show's live finale.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) confirmed the bout with sources close to both fighters.
Rumors of a potential Brown-Arroyo fight first began in late April when Arroyo confirmed his involvement with the event -- but he said couldn't yet reveal his opponent at the time.
The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale takes place June 21 in Las Vegas, and the main card airs live on Spike TV.
Arroyo will attempt the avenge the only loss of his career. He and Brown met in November 2006 at a Real Fighting Championships event, and Arroyo suffered a second-round TKO.
Arroyo has not fought since the season-six finale for "The Ultimate Fighter," where the Brazilian jiu-jitsu veteran stopped John Kolosci with a first-round arm-bar.
Brown, a veteran fighter based out of Cincinnati, defeated Jeremy May to advance to the quarterfinals of "TUF," but he dropped a second-round submission to Amir Sadollah during the show's latest episode.
