Hi, there!

I’m James, Co-Founder of MMA Buzz. I’m a lifelong Martial Artist and UFC addict. I currently reside in the UK, however, have spent many years living in, and traveling around Asia, having spent most of my time in Singapore, Thailand, and Bali.

I graduated from Northumbria University in 2017 with a bachelor’s Degree in Media. I’ve built and run several websites in the past, and aim to put this acquired knowledge into making MMA Buzz the best it can possibly be.

Martial Arts Experience

I started Judo at the age of 5 and progressed to an international level, competing in various countries across Europe and Asia.

I was the National Schools Champion of the UK at the age of 12, and shortly after earned a spot on the GB National Team.

I then relocated to Singapore, where I began training at Evolve MMA, this is where Judo took a back seat, as I began to understand that there is a whole world of different disciplines out there.

I currently train multiple times a week at my local club, specifically in Muay Thai, BJJ, Wrestling, and MMA sparring at the weekend.

So, what’s my role here at MMA Buzz?

You’ll find me writing about the latest MMA news, putting my (usually wrong) predictions on the internet for all to see, and discussing random MMA-related topics that I find interesting, and hopefully, you do too!

My goal is to bring our readers accurate, useful information and spread the joy of martial arts as far as possible.

I’m also in charge of our social media channels, so be sure to give us a follow if you can!
