About Ogi

Hi, I am Ogi. I have been a martial artist for most of my life (31 years and counting). I am a second-degree black belt in Karate and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. During the past 3 decades, I’ve trained Judo, Muay Thai, MMA, and Krav Maga.

Currently, I am the owner and head coach of Enso Jiu Jitsu, a BJJ academy in Skopje, North Macedonia. My love for travel and training is reflected in the academy’s association with Jiu Jitsu Globetrotters.

For the last 9 years, I have been expressing my thoughts on martial arts through various outlets in the form of articles, social media posts, and videos.

Apart from teaching kids classes, and advanced classes, and heading wrestling, drills, and competition groups, I also design BJJ curriculums and organize fun events like rollathons and training camps.

My Role at MMA Buzz

My role in MMA Buzz is to write informational and technical articles, share opinions in fight breakdowns, especially the grappling aspect and answer any questions coming my way! Fun fact: A steady stream of specialty coffee and craft bees is what fuels me for hours of rolling every day.
